At Clare's Dog Grooming School, we are fully hands-on , meaning you will be grooming under guided learning. During classes, the majority of learning takes place on your grooming table.

We are a small school; this is what makes us unique. We only take on one student per instructor per class, so you can guarantee quality classes to gain the skill and confidence to become a professional dog groomer. 

Dog grooming is a hands-on skill that requires practice, guidance, and real-time feedback. In-person classes provide students with the opportunity to physically interact with dogs, use grooming tools, and practice techniques under the direct supervision of experienced instructors.

You receive three books covering the theory of grooming, styling, tool use, welfare check, salon procedures, first aid, coat types, etc.

Grooming is a demanding career on the body and mind. Therefore, we recommend you book a taster session to make sure it is the career for you.
